IT IS TIME TO CLEANSE THE TEMPLE

Jesus loves, Jesus forgives, Jesus Is merciful, Jesus Is kind, He Is the personification of LOVE.

Somehow these attributes, have been completely taken out of context, and twisted by pop culture and, sadly even those that call themselves Christians.

Christianity has become so watered down!

Being a follower of Christ is more than just going to church on Sunday, listening to worship music and wearing a T-shirt that say "Faith Over Fear".

The Son of God Has been portrayed as this long-haired, hippie-like, soft-spoken dude, who's Ok with with whatever we want to do.

Yes Jesus loves sinners, BUT HE IS HOLY!!!

He Is righteous!

Jesus Is not our "buddy".

Jesus Is God! He Is The King of Kings, The Lord of Lords, The Alfa and Omega.♾️

He is The Refiner's Fire!🔥🔥🔥

He Is enthroned above the heavens.

We should fall on our faces and worship Him, with honor and awe!🙇🏻‍♀️🔥

Yes He Is our friend, but don't make the mistake of thinking that He will tolerate our double mindedness forever. He won't!

The Jesus who came in humility and peace, riding on a colt, is the same Jesus who was so filled with righteous anger as He walked through the temple, that He fashioned a whip to drive out those selling and buying!

He's The same Jesus who flipped the tables of the money changers!

The same One who was consumed with passion for His Father's house, which was being used as a marketplace!

Once Jesus comes to live in us there is no place for unrighteousness and double mindedness.

Once He's in, He will stir up all the uncleanliness in us!

We cannot serve two masters!

Only the firy presence of Jesus can cleanse us!

Only He can make the darkness flee!

When Jesus enters out hearts, His very presence will bring to the surface everything that is of the flesh!

Just as extreme heat brings to the surface and burns the impurities in metals, so does The Holy fire of God!

When the light comes in, it dispels the darkness, these two things cannot coexist! The presence of one means the absence of the other.

"For what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony can there be between Christ and Belial (Satan)?"

(2 Corinthians 6:14-15 AMP)

There is an internal battle, a deep struggle to let go of those things. Everything can become a stumbling block on our way to freedom!

Everything that takes our time and focus away from Jesus, is dangerous!

Many of us are still fighting with our own flesh after years of being saved.

We don't want to let go of the altars we've created in our lives!

Some of us have made idols of our ministries, money, our families, friends, our businesses, travelling, our homes, our possessions, our dreams and desires!

Even unforgiveness, and pain can become idols!

AM I TALKING TO ANYONE??

We hold on to these things for so long, they almost become part of who we are!

Letting go is scary, no matter what or who it is that we're letting go of, but God always rewards obedience!

We can trust Him, His plans for us are way better than our own!!

He is THE Righteous Judge! He will vendicate us.

He's coming in full force, driving out everything unclean, flipping the altars we've created in our lives!

HE'S COMING FOR HIS REMNANT!

We are the temple of God!! How can we expect to fulfill our calling if we're still struggling with the same things we were struggling with years ago!

We know God is patient and kind.

Palam 103: 8 AMP

The LORD is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger and abounding in compassion and lovingkindness.

But He won't be mocked!

His patience has a limit, and we can see this all throughout the Bible, when people did not repent, He dealt with their sin.

The time of taking advantage of His goodness and patience is up! He Is sifting the wheat from the chaff. 🌾🌾🌾🌾🌾🌾🌾🌾🌾🌾🌾🌾🌾🌾🌾🌾🌾🌾🌾

The Lord Is about to expose, bring to the light, drive out and overturn!!

HE'S CLEANSING THE CHURCH ONE MEMBER AT A TIME!

If you desire to be part of His Kingdom, you need to surrender to Him and His plans!

There is no other way, obedience is everything!!

It's not enough to have your lamp on, you need extra oil, you need to be prepared! You need to overflow!

Sanctification, and consecration, dying to ourselves, this is what it takes!!

Letting go of our own agendas!!

Are we ready to do that??

Are we ready to relinquish all?

HE IS ASKING US TODAY:

"WILL YOU TAKE UP YOUR CROSS AND FOLLOW ME NO MATTER WHAT?"

Matthew 21:12-13 AMP

12 And Jesus entered the temple [grounds] and drove out [with force] all who were buying and selling [birds and animals for sacrifice] in the temple area, and He turned over the tables of the moneychangers [who made a profit exchanging foreign money for temple coinage] and the chairs of those who were selling doves [for sacrifice]. 13 Jesus said to them, “It is written [in Scripture], ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer’; but you are making it a robbers’ den.”

John 2:13-17 NLT

[13] It was nearly time for the Jewish Passover celebration, so Jesus went to Jerusalem. [14] In the Temple area he saw merchants selling cattle, sheep, and doves for sacrifices; he also saw dealers at tables exchanging foreign money. [15] Jesus made a whip from some ropes and chased them all out of the Temple. He drove out the sheep and cattle, scattered the money changers’ coins over the floor, and turned over their tables. [16] Then, going over to the people who sold doves, he told them, “Get these things out of here. Stop turning my Father’s house into a marketplace!” [17] Then his disciples remembered this prophecy from the Scriptures: “Passion for God’s house will consume me.”

Matthew 3:12 NLT

He is ready to separate the chaff from the wheat with his winnowing fork. Then he will clean up the threshing area, gathering the wheat into his barn but burning the chaff with never-ending fire.”

Galatians 6:7 NLT

7 Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant.

1 Corinthians 3:16 AMP

[a]Do you not know and understand that you [the church] are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells [permanently] in you [collectively and individually]?

Malachia 3:2 AMP

“But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire and like launderer’s soap [which removes impurities and uncleanness].
